Dr. Gina Dapul- Hidalgo joined Family Allergy and Asthma Care in 2012.

Jacqueline S. Eghrari-Sabet, M.D. is the Founder and Medical Director of Family Allergy & Asthma Care.

Dr. Eghrari’s interests span the age groups of a family: starting with eczema in infancy, pediatric asthma, pediatric allergy, allergy & asthma in pregnancy and sinus disease in adults.

 

Honors and Awards:

 

Dr. Eghrari-Sabet has been named a Washingtonian Top Doctor in the field of Adult and Pediatric Allergy and Immunology for the past ten years. She has been voted as a Top Pediatrician as well as Top Doctor by The Consumer Research Council of America. Dr. Eghrari-Sabet has served as the President of the Greater Washington Allergy & Asthma Society.  She has served on a variety of committees for both the American College and American Academy of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Eghrari is frequently invited to give medical lectures to area physicians, medical organizations, and regional hospital staff.

Cara Abbondandolo, PA-C is a Certified Physician Assistant. She received her BS in Chemistry from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA and her Masters for physician assistant certification from Arcadia University in Philadelphia, PA. Cara became a member of our practice in 2011. She participates in both the clinical and research aspects of the practice. Cara is committed to patient education and plays a vital role in helping our patient better understand and manage their allergies and asthma. Cara is a member of the American Academy of Physicians Assistants and American College of Allergy Asthma and Immunology.

 

Although Cara is new to our practice, patients just love her. They describe her as warm, friendly and energetic. You can see her in both our Gaithersburg and Olney offices.
