Jacqueline S. Eghrari-Sabet, M.D.

Dr. Shaz Siddiqi joined Family Allergy and Asthma Care in 2005. He moved with his wife and daughter from New York after his extensive fellowship training. He had worked for 2 years as a pediatrician at Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan prior to specializing in Adult and Pediatric allergy, asthma, immunology, and rheumatology.

 

Dr. Siddiqi entered medical school directly from high school and received his medical degree from an accelerated medical program from the State University of New York at Brooklyn. He completed his residency training and specialization fellowship at the Long Island Campus of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Siddiqi is Board Certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology in the treatment of adults and children. He is also Board Certified as a general pediatrician by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Siddiqi is committed to continuing education and is an active member of the Greater Washington Allergy and Immunology Society. He has given talks to local physician groups on ocular immunology and pulmonary function testing. Dr. Siddiqi's interests include chronic hives, eczema and food allergies.

Jacqueline S. Eghrari-Sabet, M.D. is the Founder and Medical Director of Family Allergy & Asthma Care.


Dr. Eghrari’s interests span the age groups of a family: starting with eczema in infancy, pediatric asthma, pediatric allergy, allergy & asthma in pregnancy and sinus disease in adults.

Dr. Eghrari-Sabet has been named a Washingtonian Top Doctor in the field of Adult and Pediatric Allergy and Immunology for the past ten years. She has been voted as a Top Pediatrician as well as Top Doctor by The Consumer Research Council of America. Dr. Eghrari-Sabet has served as the President of the Greater Washington Allergy & Asthma Society.  She has served on a variety of committees for both the American College and American Academy of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Eghrari is frequently invited to give medical lectures to area physicians, medical organizations, and regional hospital staff.

 Lisa Rainsford is a Certified Physician Assistant. She received her BS in biology from Mount Saint Mary’s College in Emmitsburg, Maryland and her physician assistant certificate from Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens, NY.  Lisa has been a member of our practice since 2000. She participates in both the clinical and research aspects of the practice.  Lisa is committed to patient education and plays a vital role in helping our patient better understand and manage their allergies and asthma.  Lisa is a member of the American Academy of Physicians Assistants, Maryland Academy of Physicians Assistants, American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the Greater Washington Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Society.
